The Details
Location
Castellammare del Golfo sits on Sicily's northwest coast, where the mountains drop straight into the gulf. Casa Gigante is in the old town above the working harbor, walkable to the castle, the Chiesa Madre, and the water.
Scopello, the Riserva dello Zingaro, and the Greek temple at Segesta are all a short drive away, this stretch of coast rewards a rental car, but you won't need one for daily life in town.
Drive times are approximate estimates, confirm with a map before finalizing plans.
